Greg Dickey, his wife Mo, and their young son moved to Tauranga in 2018 with dreams of a better life for their family (which has grown to include a daughter too). With years of training and experience in the building industry, it was also the perfect time for Greg to start his own company.

After finishing his apprenticeship, Greg left on his OE. He spent the next eight years in London working on everything from loft conversions to high end renovations in upmarket Belgravia. He moved to Auckland in 2014 to work with a former boss, before moving to Tauranga in 2018. He’s an avid rugby fanatic and loyal supporter of the Chiefs and the All Blacks.

Locally born and bred in Bethlehem, Tim originally planned to be a sparkie. After successfully convincing him to give building a go, he joined our team and thankfully he’s never looked back. Tim enjoys expanding on his skills and is sports mad in his down time.

Meet our build team

Originally from England, Myles became interested in a building career by working in construction over the school holidays. He started his apprenticeship experience on architectural new builds and home renovations. Myles enjoys spending his free time working on anything mechanical, exploring the bush on his dirt bike, and getting muddy in his 4 wheel drive ute.

After moving from South Africa in 2000, Mark completed his apprenticeship in cabinet making and spent more than ten years in the trade. Later, he chose to work in the building industry and now has over six years experience as an LBP. When not on a job site, you'll find Mark kite surfing, dirt biking and spending time with his wife and children.

Married to Greg, Mo is originally from Colorado. After spending two years on the tools as Greg’s apprentice, she has a good understanding of the building process, site management, and managing the flow of sub trades. Mo helps out in the office and her hobbies include building tile tables and long walks on Tauranga’s beautiful beaches.

Taco is our Swedish Vallhund and can often be found on site. He’s responsible for “quality assurance and safety monitoring.”

Amanda is one of those organised people who manages to keep a lot of balls in the air. Amanda assists GDC in accounts, systems and client communication representing My Smart Office. Amanda is based in Auckland and her family enjoys time on their boat in and around the Hauraki Gulf over summer.
